American Federation of Musicians. A national musicians union. Essential for any musician who wants to go professional. Services include: affordable health and instrument insurance, pension plans, job referrals, emergency assistance for traveling musicians, negotiate agreements, and more. Cost $42.50/three months. Well-worth the expense.

The Global Muse. New musicians' directory with free MP3s, music promotion info, and many more artist services. Well-organized with some great music promo ideas.

Indiegrrl. Outstanding music resources and musicians directory for women. Strong network and excellent services.

Texas Musicians Network. Complete listing of Texas artists, plus, countless industry resources. Plus, they provide free internet access to musicians.

IUMA. Outstanding network of resources. They've been around for years. Definitely worth looking at.

Indie-Music.com. If you want only one musicians site that has it all, go to Indie-Music.com. They've everything band listings, free classifieds, countless articles on every topic in the music biz. Incredible resource!
